WHAT'S ON THE GOLF COURSE
Golf Course Hazards

Spectacular Wildlife & Nature
Most golfers really enjoy being outdoors and respecting wildlife, but there's no need to get to close or leave your clubs on the ground. Many times I have gone searching for a ball or teeing off to see something unexpected.
East Coast Deer have ticks which can cause Lyme's Disease and sleep in the grass. The golf course is a refuge for Coyotes, Black Bears and Alligators. Fire ants will quickly crawl up your ankles out of grass. When hitting that shot that didn't go in the pond, you may have disturbed a snake.
Possible Harmful Chemicals Used on Golf Courses
Pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides are all chemicals used to maintain the idyllic appeal of a lush green golf course. To ensure the health and sustainability of turfgrass, different chemical agents have been specially synthesized to promote growth in turfgrass while preventing damage.
